Adrenaline is the sound of a young nu-metal band trying to find its sound. With little actual singing, a tendency for screaming, and simple riffs, the songs blend together a lot, but are similar to and appear to have influenced nu-metal bands like Limp Bizkit which became popular soon after (especially "7 Words"). The best moments come in the stinging chorus of the scream-rapped "Engine No. 9" and the steady-building outro of "Fireal"****. The album is immediate and energetic, though a bit too abrasive to be enjoyed.
