Haegers Bend - A Letter For the Last Day In Time

Here and there are promises of the interesting live performance, but this at best derivative album fails by comparison. "Moonshine" takes a bit from mid-70's Floyd and is the least objectionable track. "They don't understand" starts off with with a faithful and competent copy of patented Alice In Chains harmonies, but settles into a lazy Pearl Jam / Mother Love Bone groove. "Sex Star" has a Scorpion ballad wailing delivery, and by this point every song sounds like Bush. "Live In Peace" is corny in sentiment, like "Winds Of Change" without any interesting instrumentation whatsoever. The back and half of the album consistently drags, with sounds mostly borrowed from the Scorpions.
