The strong opener "Little Furry Things"**** is catchy though tentative. "Kraked"**** shows a tight band despite the speed and noise. "Sludgefest"**** transitions unexpectedly but seamlessly between riff rock and melody. "The Lung" is a more disjointed series of riffs before some vocals come in 3/4 through the song. "Raisans" is not one of the stronger songs melodically, and chorus is worthy of early Tom Petty (good or bad). I liked "Tarpit"**** and then noticed that the verse melody is exactly the same as "Sludgefest". oops. "In A Jar" is one of the more complex songs melodically, but not memorable. The closing cover of "Show Me The Way"**** is hilariously mocking, almost as much fun to listen to as it probably was to record.
