2x****
Who knew that I'm lame enough to like this 70's AM pop resembling Michael McDonald Doobie Brothers, though a trio of songs do stand out. The opener "You Got It" is especially AM radio friendly and isn't promising, though "Got The Love" has just a little funk. "Pick Up The Pieces"**** is the big hit instrumental with the angular sax riff. Written by the Isley Brothers "Work To Do"**** has a big sound for this album and has a classic-sounding riff, as well as some impressive lead guitar. Side B is much more subdued, except for the disco beat of "I Just Can't Give You Up".
