I'm probably not qualified to judge a career from a one disk retrospective, but the best songs here are the soul-inflected "Tin Soldier"****, which sounds familiar from many Black Crowes songs, and the more rocking "Me, You, And Us Too"****. Some songs are downright irritating, such as the single "Itchycoo Park", sung overly-inflected, the irritating backing vocals of "I Feel Much Better", the very Who-like "Have You Ever Seen Me" (here here here?), "Lazy Sunday", which is like Kinks but sillier. Most of the rest are perfectly tolerable but sound like many contemporaries such as the Kinks or the Who but not as memorable.
