There's a fine line between avant garde and whanking. I guess I don't get it. 'Dish It Out' by James Chance & the Contortions is the only one I really like, frenetic but coherent. Teenage Jesus and the Jerks (Lydia Lunch) too much noise to enjoy. Lotsa crashing and screaming. Mars is all just weird except for 'Helen Fordsdale' DNA sound most mechanical, which is alright, but I don't need to hear it again really.
