Nine Inch Nails - With Teeth

3x****
Kicks off rather lame with "All the Love in the World", which has no teeth at all, and while catchy is a dopey, whiney like boo hoo. I've liked "The Hand That Feeds" ever since it came out, as it's a question for everyone - what do you trade away? "Every Day..." could be on any album, fairly MOR NiN; the better, heavier "With Teeth" could fit on Fragile, notable for its skipping drum line. "Only" should be on Pretty Hate.., but is not as good. "The Line Begins to Blur" missteps a bit in lyrics, but makes up in heaviness. "Beside You In Time" builds from a thumping drone; while good it could use something else. "Right Where It Belongs" has the great piano lines of Downward Spiral. Overall, not as consistent as The Fragile, but has enough to make it worth a listen.
