The cover of "The True Wheel" is the first song that jumped out to me, being a very direct but fun version. The album starts (and stops) with the strange "January On Strike", which goes throught many changes. The rest of the album ranges from the multi-part "80 Steps to Jonah" to more straightforward 3-count "Me, My Dad....", from the fast new wavey "Acme: The Summit..." (I don't wanng go to tech school) to the album-ending slow Flaming Lips-like "The Cat Wore a Halo Hat", the latter song being as dramatic as the light-sounding album gets. Though most songs have a catchy line or two, the music didn't stick with me for the most part.
