More of an interesting than enjoyable album, as it's mostly loud and shrill. It starts with horns blasting on "Opening the Hymnal", which continue to blast a dirge on "Big Bang", which make it a fun song, while a jarring one. "Bad Sects" is a bit quieter, which gives the builds at the end of the verses somewhere to develop from. The rest of the record seems more straightforward by comparison, but not really more tuneful.
